The last few days have been quite busy. Sharon, Colin, and I rented a car, and the Siemens family also rented a car, and we spent two whole days at the Dead Sea. The first day we went to Masada. We went to the top by the cable-lift, and we walked down on foot. It's really an amazing place. Then we went to the beach at Ein Bokek and we got to float in the water. We ended the day at the site of Tel Arad, then we drove back to Jerusalem on highway 60 past Hebron. The Hebron area is so beautiful. Vineyards and hills. Yesterday we went hiking at Ein Gedi. Then we went to Qumran. Last night we returned the car, and Colin, Sharon, and I went to Terry and Carmen's apartment for supper. It's so good to spend time with them. I'm always encouraged by them. Now it's preparation day, and Shabbat is coming soon.

Oh yeah, last night it hailed in Jerusalem. It was great fun walking through the hail and rain.
