First, it is a command from YHWH to not forget what Amalek did to my nation, the nation of Israel. So by making it the title of my blog both I and everyone that reads it will remember every time we're here.
Also, I want my blog to be a voice of opposition to the modern day Amalek of this world. This is not so much a physical nation as it is spiritual. Amalek is the spirit that opposes both Israel and YHWH, the God of Israel.
'Why do the nations rage? Why do the people waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against YHWH and against his Anointed One (or Christ). "Let us break their chains," they cry, "and free ourselves from this slavery." But the one who rules in heaven laughs. YHWH scoffs at them. Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.' Psalm 2:1-5
YHWH has sworn that he will have war with Amalek forever.
I died. I DIED! I want the whole world to know that I died. I have been crucified with Messiah and I no longer live, but Messiah lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the Son of Elohim (God), who loves me and gave himself for me. I am alive today because Yeshua, the Son of Elohim, is alive.
